Birthday Chips

Today we rode to Barnes Green via the downs link on the mtb's for my birthday meal of chips!!

Boxhill

I left Dorking in thick fog only to burst through the ceiling into the sunlight at the top of Boxhill. Dorking is under there somewhere :)

Sunday Ride

Today we did a similar ride to Tuesday, I got lost a little bit, but it was essentially the same route. The weather was fabulously foggy and fabulously sunny in equal measures, with temperature a mild 11C! Autumn is dragging it's feet into winter in a most agreeable manner.

Epsom loop

Still very dry! We did a shortish off road ride to reinstate Jane's skills as she hasn't ridden off road for a while.

Tuesday mtb

No Roger today, But with PF as a substitute we had a good ride around the downs on firm trails in the autumn sunshine 2.44 and 44 km.

Winter

As the leaves turn orange and then brown and are swept away by the easterlies (or by those stupid noisy blower things that a certain type of man feels compelled to own bah!) , a different bike appears on the roads.... The winter bike. Here is a spy pic of my neighbour's fabulous mudguard bedecked creation that puts my best bike to shame. :)

Rides

Back to steady road rides recently. Sunday was the longer route to Barnes Green, a place that I normally loathe. But we sat in the sun and used the free weefee to blog. The whole place has had a make over and is a bit nicer, especially the free weefee. :)
