Trans Scotland stage six

Waiting, waiting, waiting. We
wait in food queues, we wait
in shower queues, we wait in
toilet queues. We wait to go
over styles, we wait to go
over the start line. And now
I am waiting for the night
time trial. 9pm and here in
June in Scotland it is broad
daylight. I go off at 10.28.
In the meantime I wait. Today
has been hard enough anyway.
Only a fifth of us made the
cut off time. Very little road,
lots of gates and styles and a
never ending hill. A bit more
back tracking but an excellent
route again. And another sunny
day. Today we are camped outside
the Hub in Glentress. I spent a
fortune on food. The caterers
would cause prison riots. but
now I must eat a bar and change.
